Threats, malware, and attack techniques
Insider Threat
An insider threat is the risk of a cybersecurity breach that comes from an organization’s ‘insiders’, such as their employees, partners or suppliers. There are different types of insider threat, including intentional insider threats, such as when an employee uses their legitimate access to steal sensitive data or harm the organization’s systems, or they can be unintentional, such as when an employee accidentally shares sensitive information or unknowingly introduces malware into the system.
